Using Offhand Tweaks for Combat

Offhand Tweaks lets you move items—especially food—to your offhand slot with a single action, keeping them accessible without switching hotbar slots.

To move an item to your offhand:

1. Hold the item you want to move (food, shield, torch, etc.)

2. Shift-click the item

3. It moves to your offhand slot

4. Your main hand item remains unchanged

Combat Setup Example

Equip a sword in your main hand, then Shift-click food in your hotbar to move it to your offhand. During combat, you can eat without switching away from your weapon.

Flexible Item Support

While food is the primary use case, this works with any item that can be held in the offhand—shields, torches, and other wearables. Configure which items can be moved to your offhand based on your playstyle.

This is particularly useful in PvP situations or dangerous caves where quick healing without losing your weapon grip is essential.
