Keep Your Index Updated When Moving or Reorganizing Storage

How the Index Updates

The mod's index updates automatically whenever you open a container. If you move items between chests, break containers, or add new storage blocks, simply open those containers to refresh the index. The mod will reflect the new contents the next time you search.

Clearing Old Data

If you've removed a chest from your base or reorganized significantly, the mod may still show outdated entries. Open the containers you've kept and interact with them to update their contents. The old data will be replaced as you refresh your storage areas.

For Multiplayer Servers

On servers, your index is local to your client only. If another player modifies shared storage, you won't see those changes until you open the container yourself. This is by design—the mod respects server privacy by only tracking what you've personally accessed.

Maintaining Accuracy

Regularly visit your storage areas and open containers to keep your index current. This ensures search results remain reliable for finding items when you need them.
