Using Train Sounds and Custom Audio

How Custom Sounds Work

International Metropack Retro includes authentic Soviet metro train sounds for every vehicle model. These sounds play automatically when trains accelerate, brake, and move through stations. The audio includes door chimes, horn signals, and ambient station noise to make your metro feel alive.

Enabling and Adjusting Audio

Sounds are enabled by default once the pack is installed. Check your Minecraft sound settings to ensure the Master Volume and Block/Neutral Mob volume sliders are not muted. You can adjust individual sound volumes through Minecraft's audio menu if certain train sounds feel too loud or quiet.

Immersion Tips

Place your player near stations and platforms to hear the full effect of arrival and departure sounds. The custom audio is designed to play at realistic distances, so standing on a platform will give you the authentic experience of a busy underground transit hub. Layer multiple trains in your network to create overlapping sounds during peak hours.
