Selecting and Installing Train Models

Understanding the Download Structure

The default International Metropack Retro download includes only tracks and tunnels. To add actual train vehicles, you must select specific train model files from the download page. Each file corresponds to a different Soviet metro train design—such as the blue-green variants, brown cars, or yellow-interior models shown in the pack screenshots.

Installing Train Files

Download the train model files you want alongside the base pack. Place them in your resource pack folder so they load together with the main pack. The mod will recognize these files and make the trains available for use in the MTR mod's train configuration.

Choosing Your Fleet

Different train models suit different station aesthetics. The blue-green trains work well in modern-looking metros, while brown and yellow variants fit vintage or industrial themes. You can install multiple train models simultaneously to create a diverse fleet across your network.
