Set Up Custom Chat Keywords and Triggers

Creating Custom Interactive Keywords

Admins can configure custom words or phrases that trigger special chat actions, allowing players to interact with predefined responses or commands.

Admin Setup

1. Access the plugin configuration file (usually in the server's config folder)

2. Define custom keywords and their associated actions or responses

3. Specify what happens when a player types or clicks the keyword—this might display text, trigger a command, or show an item

4. Reload the plugin or restart the server to apply changes

Player Usage

Once keywords are configured:

1. Type the custom keyword in chat

2. The keyword appears as an interactive element

3. Other players can click it to trigger the associated action

4. The response displays in chat for all to see

Examples

Common uses include event announcements, quick access to server rules, displaying sponsor information, or triggering fun roleplay actions. Keywords can be combined with PlaceholderAPI for dynamic content that updates based on server state or player data.
