Understand Why Visualized Items Don't Affect Gameplay

Client-Side Only

All items and blocks displayed by Interaction Visualizer Plugin exist only on your client. The server never creates actual entities or blocks for these visualizations. This is why they behave differently from real items.

What This Means

Because visualizations are client-side:

  • Items cannot be picked up or interacted with
  • Kill commands (/kill) cannot remove them
  • They don't occupy space in the world
  • They don't trigger redstone or physics
  • Other players see their own independent visualizations

Performance Benefit

This design keeps server performance unaffected. The mod only sends crafting data to your client, which renders the visuals locally. No extra entities or block states are stored on the server.

Result

You get real-time feedback on what items are being placed into crafting interfaces without any gameplay consequences or server overhead.
