Understanding Negative Energy

Negative energy is the fuel for all cursed techniques. It's generated from negative emotions and emotions during combat—the more intense your fights, the faster it accumulates. You can't manually farm it; it builds naturally as you engage cursed spirits and survive dangerous encounters.

Using Your Power

Once you have negative energy stored, activate your cursed technique's abilities in combat. Each ability consumes energy, so manage your reserves carefully during long fights. Stronger abilities cost more energy but deal greater damage or provide better effects.

Combat Flow

Enter fights with full energy reserves. Use basic attacks to build energy mid-combat if needed, then unleash powerful abilities when enemies are vulnerable. Don't waste high-cost moves on weak spirits—save them for Grade 2 and above. As you level up, you'll unlock abilities that generate energy more efficiently, letting you chain attacks together.
