Getting Started with Your Atlas
Opening and Using Your Map Book
Press M once to hold the atlas in your hands while exploring—you can walk and look around freely. Press M again to open the full editor, where drawing tools appear on the right side of your screen. Here you can paint territory borders, sketch roads by clicking waypoints, label towns with building pieces, write free-text notes, and mark special locations. Press M a third time to close the book.
All your marks automatically record the game time and date, keeping your map accurate on multiplayer servers. When other players share scrolls with you, their marks appear faint until you visit those locations in person. Once finished, export your map as a scroll file to trade with other players, or save it as a high-resolution image to your screenshot folder. You can undo and redo up to twenty steps if you make mistakes.
