Customizing Your Experience with the Data Pack
Data Pack Configuration
The Injured Effects Data Pack may offer configuration options to adjust how aggressively effects trigger and how intense they feel.
Locating Settings
Check your world's datapacks folder or in-game settings for customization files. Some data packs use:
- Scoreboard commands to track health thresholds
- Configuration files in the datapack structure
- In-game commands to toggle features on/off
Possible Adjustments
Depending on implementation, you might control:
- Effect intensity: How dark the screen gets, particle density, heartbeat volume
- Trigger thresholds: At what health percentage effects activate
- Individual toggles: Enable/disable darkness, heartbeat, or blood particles separately
Making Changes
1. Pause your world
2. Access datapacks menu or configuration files
3. Adjust settings according to your preference
4. Reload the datapack or restart your world
5. Test changes by taking damage
Balancing Immersion
If effects feel too intense, reduce them gradually rather than disabling completely. This maintains immersion while keeping gameplay enjoyable. If they're too subtle, increase intensity to feel genuine danger.
