Planning Your Furniture Layout

Before placing displays, decide what pieces you need: shelves, tables, chairs, or decorative items. The mod works best when you combine block displays (for structure) with item displays (for decoration). Sketch out your design mentally or on paper to avoid repositioning later.

Creating Multi-Piece Displays

Place your base structure first using block displays—these form the foundation of your furniture. Then add item displays on top: books on shelves, plates on tables, flowers in pots. Use the positioning tools to align each piece perfectly.

Scaling for Proportion

Use the scale controls to adjust individual pieces so they look proportional to each other. A tiny chair next to a full-size table looks odd; scale them to match. The mod lets you make each display exactly the size you need.

Survival-Mode Advantage

Unlike Creative mode, you stay in survival while decorating. This means you can build furniture around your actual gameplay space, test how it looks with lighting, and adjust on the fly. Your finished furniture stays permanently in your world and works in multiplayer builds too.
