Add Text Displays to Your Builds

Creating Text Displays

The mod supports text displays alongside item and block displays. Use the wand to select a text display, then open the chat control menu to position and rotate it just like any other display. Text displays let you add signs, labels, or decorative text without placing physical sign blocks.

Positioning Text for Readability

Text displays can be rotated and scaled to fit your build's aesthetic. Position them:

  • Above shelves to label storage areas
  • On walls as decorative elements
  • At angles to match your build's style
  • At custom scales to match surrounding displays

Combining with Other Displays

Text works best when paired with item and block displays. For example, create a labeled storage area by placing text above a shelf of displayed items. The text stays aligned with your other decorations and rotates with them if needed.

Multiplayer Decoration

Text displays are especially useful in multiplayer worlds where you want to communicate build information or create themed areas. Everyone sees the same positioned text, making it perfect for collaborative decoration projects.
