Troubleshoot Infinity Not Working on Your Crossbow

Verify the Enchantment is Applied

Check your crossbow's enchantments:

1. Hold the crossbow and look at its tooltip (hover over it in inventory)

2. Confirm "Infinity" appears in the enchantment list

3. If it's not there, the enchantment wasn't successfully applied—try again with an anvil or enchanting table

Check Your Arrow Supply

Infinity requires at least one arrow to activate:

1. Open your inventory and verify you have at least one arrow

2. Arrows can be in your hotbar or main inventory—either location works

3. If you have no arrows, craft or find some before attempting to shoot

Confirm Mod is Active

• Verify the mod is installed and enabled in your mod loader
• Restart your game if you recently installed or updated the mod
• Check that you're using a compatible mod version with your Minecraft version

Test in Creative Mode

If issues persist:

1. Switch to Creative mode

2. Give yourself an Infinity crossbow and arrows

3. Attempt to shoot

4. If it works in Creative, your Survival setup may be missing arrows or the enchantment

If the mod still doesn't function, reinstall it or check for conflicts with other mods.
