Handle Ice and Magma Sections Without Panic
Ice Floors: Controlling Momentum
Icy sections use blue ice walls and wooden trapdoor platforms. Ice reduces friction, making you slide farther than normal. This isn't a trap—it's a different rhythm.
Adjust your timing: Jump earlier than you would on regular blocks. Your momentum will carry you farther, so account for the extra distance.
Use trapdoors as anchors: Wooden trapdoors on ice floors provide grip. Land on them deliberately to reset your momentum before the next jump.
Walk carefully between jumps: If you need to reposition, walk slowly. Quick movements on ice cause uncontrolled sliding.
Magma Sections: Avoiding Damage
Blackstone walls with glowing magma blocks are hazardous but navigable. Magma blocks deal damage if you stand on them too long.
Jump over magma, don't land on it: Treat magma as lava—something to clear, not something to touch. Plan your jumps to land on safe blocks beyond it.
Use blackstone platforms: These are your safe zones. The contrast between magma and blackstone makes the safe path obvious.
Both section types test precision. Stay calm and focus on landing, not speed.
