Find and Use Hidden Shortcuts

Where Shortcuts Hide

Secret paths are tucked into corners and above obvious routes. Look for gaps in the main structure, alcoves behind waterfalls of blocks, or areas where the wall seems incomplete. Shortcuts often use the same blocks as their surroundings, so scan carefully.

Recognizing Shortcut Indicators

Unusual block placement: If you see blocks arranged differently than the main path—especially isolated platforms or odd angles—investigate. Shortcuts reward curiosity.

Vertical gaps: Some shortcuts let you climb or jump diagonally upward, skipping entire sections. These are riskier but save significant time.

Alternative materials: A section built with different wood types or stone variants than the floor around it often marks a secret route.

Testing Shortcuts Safely

Before committing to a shortcut, observe it from a distance. Can you see where it leads? Is there a clear landing zone? Shortcuts are optional—use them only when you're confident in your ability to execute the jumps they require.

Remember: the main path is always available as a fallback.
