Enable and Disable Night Vision on Demand

Toggling the Effect

The Infinite Night Vision Mod applies its effect automatically upon installation, but you can control when it's active by managing your world state.

To Disable Temporarily

If you want to experience darkness or turn off night vision:

1. Die in-game — The night vision effect clears when you respawn

2. Switch dimensions — Travel to the Nether or End; the effect resets when you return to the Overworld

3. Uninstall the mod — Remove it from your mods folder and restart

To Re-enable After Clearing

Once the effect is gone, simply reload your world or restart the game. The mod will automatically reapply infinite night vision on load.

Why This Matters

Some players want to experience vanilla darkness for atmosphere or challenge. This mod respects that choice—you're never forced to see in the dark. The effect is persistent across sessions unless you deliberately clear it, making it seamless for long-term exploration.
