Infinite night vision works underwater just as well as in caves, letting you explore ocean depths without brewing night vision potions or managing potion timers.

Preparing for Deep Dives

1. Bring water breathing potions or a helmet with Respiration — Night vision only helps you see; it doesn't let you breathe underwater

2. Wear armor — Protect yourself from drowning and mob damage

3. Pack building blocks — Useful for creating air pockets or marking your route

Underwater Advantages

• See ancient cities, ocean ruins, and shipwrecks clearly without torches
• Spot valuable blocks and mobs at a distance
• Navigate coral reefs and kelp forests without light sources attracting mobs
• Search the seafloor for resources without wasting potion slots

Important Limitation

Night vision does *not* provide water breathing or oxygen. You still need separate breathing solutions—potions, enchanted helmets, or conduits. The mod only handles visibility in dark underwater areas.
