Prevent Item Loss in Multiplayer Survival
Protecting Your Inventory
On multiplayer servers, dying means losing your items to despawn or to other players. This mod removes the despawn threat, giving you more time to recover.
Multiplayer Considerations
1. Items still drop publicly — other players can see and take them
2. No despawn timer means your items stay visible longer, which can be good or bad depending on your server community
3. Coordinate with teammates if you're playing with friends; let them know where you've left important items
Strategies for Survival
- Drop items in hidden locations away from main paths to reduce theft risk
- Use secure bases with locked chests for long-term storage instead of ground piles
- Retrieve items quickly after dying to minimize exposure time
- Trust your team: On cooperative servers, teammates can guard your items while you prepare to retrieve them
Server Compatibility
Check with your server admin before relying on this mod — some servers may have additional rules about item storage or may use conflicting mods. This mod works best on servers where the community respects player property.
