Display Server Performance (TPS)

Monitor Server Tick Rate

TPS (Ticks Per Second) shows how well a server is performing. Indicatia displays this on your client-side HUD, helping you diagnose lag.

Reading TPS

1. Enable the TPS HUD element in your mod settings

2. The number displays in real-time on your screen

3. A healthy server runs at 20 TPS (the maximum)

4. Lower numbers indicate server lag or performance issues

What TPS Means

  • 20 TPS: Server running perfectly
  • 15-19 TPS: Minor lag, noticeable but playable
  • Below 15 TPS: Significant lag, affects gameplay

Using TPS Data

This is valuable for:

  • Testing server stability during development
  • Identifying when lag occurs (during events, peak hours)
  • Reporting performance issues to server administrators

Note: This shows client-side calculations, so it's an estimate rather than the server's official TPS.
