Upgrade Existing Rail Networks Without Resource Grinding

Assessing Your Current Network

If you have an existing rail system that needs expansion or improvement, this mod eliminates the tedious resource gathering that normally accompanies upgrades. Identify sections that need powered rails for speed, detector rails for automation, or simply more normal rails for expansion.

Gathering Upgrade Materials

1. Collect the base materials needed for your desired rail type (iron ingots, redstone, gold, etc.).

2. Craft in bulk. The mod's increased yields mean fewer crafting sessions.

3. Transport materials to your network using minecarts or creative inventory management.

Installation Steps

1. Replace sections of normal rails with powered rails at key points to improve minecart speed.

2. Insert detector rails at junctions or cargo stops to enable automation.

3. Add activator rails where you want to eject passengers or items.

4. Test thoroughly before committing to the full upgrade.

Scaling Improvements

With 32 normal rails and 16 specialized rails per craft, you can upgrade multiple sections simultaneously. This makes it practical to overhaul older networks or add new branches without the grind that would normally deter such projects.
