Immersive Weather Sounds Resource Pack Guide

How Immersive Weather Sounds Works

Immersive Weather Sounds is a resource pack, not a mod. That means it does not add new blocks, items, or gameplay mechanics. Instead, it swaps out Minecraft's default weather audio files for higher-quality, realistic environmental recordings. Rain, thunder, and wind all get replaced, so storms sound more dynamic and atmospheric than the vanilla versions.

Because it only changes audio, installation follows the normal resource pack process: place it in your resourcepacks folder and enable it from the in-game resource pack menu. No dependencies or configuration are needed.

It works in any world where weather occurs, including during natural storms and weather changes. If you use other packs that alter weather sounds, load order determines which one takes priority. Since the pack is purely cosmetic, it is safe to add or remove at any time without affecting your save.
