Reduce Fog Density in Specific Biomes

Access Mod Settings

The Immersive Storms Mod includes configuration options to adjust how intense weather effects appear in different biomes. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible from the main menu or in-game settings, depending on your mod loader).

Adjust Fog Intensity

Locate the fog density or visibility settings for individual biome types:

  • Deserts, Badlands, Savannas: Reduce sandstorm fog density to improve visibility during rain and thunderstorms
  • Snowy Biomes: Lower blizzard fog thickness if you find snow weather too obscuring
  • Swamps and Pale Gardens: Decrease swamp fog intensity for clearer sightlines

Apply Changes

Save your configuration changes. The mod will apply these settings immediately or after reloading your world, depending on your setup. Test the changes by triggering weather in the affected biome—use commands like /weather rain if needed.

Fine-Tuning

If you want to disable effects entirely for a biome, check for toggle options in the config. Some players prefer keeping ambient wind effects while removing fog for a balanced experience.
