Experience Immersive Storms in Multiplayer Servers

Client-Side Installation

Immersive Storms is a client-side only mod, meaning you can install and use it on any server without requiring the server to have it installed. This makes it perfect for multiplayer play.

Install on Your Client

Add the mod to your client-side mods folder. The mod will load when you join any server and apply its visual effects to your game view only—other players won't see your custom fog or particles.

Weather Synchronization

Since the mod responds to vanilla Minecraft weather events, it works seamlessly with server weather cycles. When it rains on the server, your client will display the appropriate atmospheric effects based on your biome and the mod's settings.

Performance Considerations

Because Immersive Storms only affects your client, it has minimal impact on server performance. However, if you experience lag, you can reduce particle density or fog intensity in the mod's configuration to lighten the load on your machine.

No Conflicts

The mod doesn't change gameplay mechanics, so it won't cause issues with server rules or anti-cheat systems.
