How to Resize and Align a Multi-Block Painting in Immersive Paintings
Setting the Canvas Size
After placing a Painting, right-click to open its interface. You'll find controls for the canvas dimensions — increase the width and height to make the image cover more blocks. The painting's collision and render area grow to match, so plan your wall space before committing to a large size.
Aligning Across Blocks
For a mural that spans several blocks, place multiple paintings side by side and give each one the same image but a different offset. The offset controls shift which part of the source image each block displays, letting you stitch a single picture across the whole wall. Work left to right and top to bottom, matching the offset increments to your canvas size so the seams line up.
Fixing Common Problems
If the image looks stretched, your source file's aspect ratio doesn't match the canvas — crop the image beforehand. If part of the mural is blank, that block's offset is wrong or no image is assigned. If the painting won't resize further, you've hit the mod's maximum dimensions; split the artwork across more blocks instead. Test with a small grid first, then scale up once the alignment is correct.
