Reduce Lag from Too Many Mobs in One Area

Understanding Entity Tick Scheduling

Immersive Optimization Edition uses a smart entity-tick-scheduler that prevents your game from slowing down when many mobs, animals, or items pile up in one location. Instead of updating every creature every tick, the mod spreads their updates across multiple ticks.

How It Works Automatically

The mod runs in the background without requiring configuration. When you have:

  • Large animal farms
  • Mob grinders
  • Item buildup from farms or mining
  • Multiple players in the same chunk

The scheduler automatically reduces how often distant or less-critical entities update. Mobs still move and behave normally, but the game processes them more efficiently.

What You'll Notice

Your TPS (ticks per second) will remain stable even with hundreds of entities nearby. Blocks break at normal speed, mobs respond to you consistently, and lag spikes disappear. The performance boost is most noticeable in:

  • Crowded mob farms
  • Item sorting systems
  • Areas with many animals
  • Multiplayer servers with concentrated activity

No configuration needed—install and play. The mod handles optimization silently.
