Set up multiple Immersive Engineering addons to work together

Understanding addon compatibility

Immersive Convergence Mod acts as a bridge between different Immersive Engineering factory addons. Instead of addons conflicting or duplicating code, Convergence lets them share a common foundation and communicate seamlessly.

Installation and setup

1. Install Immersive Engineering first — this is the base mod all addons depend on

2. Install Immersive Convergence Mod into your mods folder

3. Install your desired Immersive Engineering addons (such as Immersive Petroleum, Immersive Railroading, or others)

4. Launch the game; Convergence automatically detects installed addons and enables compatibility

You do not need to configure anything manually. The mod works silently in the background — you won't see new blocks or items appear. Instead, your addons will now share code efficiently and understand each other's machines and systems.

Verifying compatibility

Load a world with multiple addons installed. If machines from different addons can connect to the same power networks or fluid systems without errors, Convergence is working correctly. Check your game log for any compatibility warnings; if none appear, your setup is stable.
