How to Use the Bamboo Hopper and Other Utility Craft
What the Bamboo Hopper Is
Bamboo Hopper is a small utility aircraft in Immersive Aircraft. It is lightweight and cheap to build, making it a good early-game transport for short trips and light cargo. It is not built for combat or long hauls, so treat it as a personal runabout rather than a warship.
Flying the Bamboo Hopper
1. Craft and place the Bamboo Hopper.
2. Board it and start the engine.
3. Take off from flat ground — it needs a short run-up.
4. Keep flights short and avoid heavy loads.
Other Utility Options
- Gyrodyne: a rotor craft that hovers and lands vertically, useful for tight spaces.
- Quadrocopter: a four-rotor craft with excellent hovering and precision, ideal for building and scouting.
- Cargo Airship: a slow but high-capacity hauler for moving large amounts of items.
Tips for Utility Craft
Fit a Gyroscope on any rotor craft to reduce twitchiness. Use Improved Landing Gear if you land on rough terrain often. For scouting, mount a Telescope so you can spot landmarks and mobs from a safe altitude. Utility craft are not meant to fight — if attacked, flee rather than engage.
