How to Power Aircraft with Engines, Boilers, and Fuel
Choosing a Power Source
Immersive Aircraft offers several engines. The Eco Engine is the simplest and runs on a renewable fuel, making it a good default for small craft. The standard Engine provides more thrust for heavier builds. The Nether Engine is the high-output option for large airships and warships, but it demands more attention to heat and fuel. Boilers — including the Steel Boiler — feed steam-driven setups and pair with Sturdy Pipes to route output to propellers.
Wiring an Engine to a Propeller
1. Place the engine on your aircraft's hull.
2. Attach a Propeller or Enhanced Propeller to the engine's output face.
3. If using a boiler setup, connect the Boiler to the engine with Sturdy Pipes.
4. Add fuel to the engine or boiler and start it.
5. Board the craft and confirm the propeller spins before taking off.
Keeping It Running
Engines consume fuel while running, so carry spare fuel on long trips. Industrial Gears are used in crafting the more advanced drivetrains. If a propeller stops mid-flight, land immediately — you will lose thrust and altitude fast. For multi-engine craft, balance engines on both sides so the aircraft does not pull to one side.
