How to Arm Aircraft with Weapons and Bomb Bays
Mounting Weapons
Immersive Aircraft lets you turn civilian craft into combat platforms. The Rotary Cannon is a rapid-fire forward weapon, best mounted on Biplanes and Quadrocopters for strafing runs. The Heavy Crossbow is a slower, harder-hitting option that suits airships and warships. Mount weapons on the hull facing the direction you want to fire, then board and use the fire control.
Using a Bomb Bay
A Bomb Bay lets you drop explosives from altitude. Install it on the underside of an airship or warship, load it with bombs, then release them from the pilot's seat. Bombing runs work best from a stable, high-altitude craft — a Gyroscope helps keep you level while you line up the drop.
Building a Warship
1. Start with a large hull and reinforce it with Hull Reinforcement.
2. Add multiple engines and propellers for thrust.
3. Install a Steel Boiler and Sturdy Pipes if you want steam power.
4. Mount Rotary Cannons and Heavy Crossbows on all sides.
5. Add a Bomb Bay underneath.
6. Fit an Electronic Gyroscope for stability under fire.
Warships are slow but heavily armed — bring escorts if you expect fighters.
