Create a Custom Debug Panel with ImGui

Setting Up Your First Panel

ImGuiMC lets you draw debug screens directly into Minecraft without complex setup. To create a basic panel, hook into the render frame events provided by the mod.

Steps

1. Listen to render events — Register a listener for the frame render hook. This fires every frame, giving you a window to draw.

2. Call ImGui drawing functions — Use ImGui's standard API to create windows, buttons, and text. For example, ImGui.begin() starts a new window, and ImGui.text() adds labels.

3. Add interactive elements — Place buttons with ImGui.button(), sliders with ImGui.sliderFloat(), or checkboxes with ImGui.checkbox().

4. Close your window — Always call ImGui.end() after adding content to properly close the panel.

5. Test in-game — Launch Minecraft with the mod loaded. Your panel should appear overlaid on the game screen.

The panel will render every frame automatically. You can move and resize it like any ImGui window. No extra configuration files or native libraries are needed—everything runs inside the game process.
