Where the Illusioner Fits

Illager Invasion expands the Illusioner's role. It appears in raids and illager encounters alongside the mod's other mobs, and it uses blindness and mirror-image decoys to confuse you. Players searching for the Illusioner specifically usually want to know how to kill it without wasting time on clones.

Identifying the Real Illusioner

1. When the Illusioner casts its mirror image, several copies appear around you.

2. The real one is the source of new projectiles — watch which copy fires.

3. Area-of-effect damage (sweeping attacks, splash potions, or a Magical Fire Charge) hits all copies at once and reveals the real one when the fakes vanish.

4. Do not chase copies; stand still, block, and let it come to you.

Fighting It Safely

• Bring a shield — its bow shots are blockable.
• Cure blindness with milk if you have it; blindness is what makes the fight feel unfair.
• Fight in open ground so you can see all copies at once.
• If a Necromancer or Provoker is also present, deal with the Illusioner first — its blindness makes every other mob harder to fight.

Defeating the Illusioner contributes to your Illager Invasion material stock, including dusts and platinum used at the Imbuing Table. Treat it as a material source, not just a nuisance.
