Finding Context-Specific Dialogue

Each illager type has unique voice lines that trigger in different situations. To experience the full range of dialogue, you'll need to encounter illagers in various states.

Triggering Different Voice Lines

Idle chatter: Stand near illagers without engaging them. They'll occasionally speak to themselves.

Spotting you: Let illagers see you from a distance. They'll react with alarm or aggression lines when they first notice your presence.

Combat dialogue: Engage illagers in combat. They'll shout during fights, when attacking, and when taking damage.

Kill celebrations: Allow illagers to defeat mobs or the player. They'll taunt after successful kills.

Raid events: Trigger a raid by visiting a village with the Bad Omen effect. Illagers have special lines for raid phases and victory.

Best Locations

Visit woodland mansions, pillager outposts, or trigger raids in villages to encounter multiple illager types and hear their distinct personalities. Each illager class—pillagers, vindicators, evokers, and ravagers—has its own vocal character and joke style.
