Understand How the Plugin Detects You're Active

What Counts as Activity

Idle Pulse Tab Plugin monitors your inputs in real time. The plugin watches for:

  • Movement keys: Forward, backward, left strafe, right strafe, jump, sneak, and sprint. Holding any of these keys keeps you marked active.
  • Chat messages: Typing and sending a message in chat registers as activity.
  • Block interactions: Breaking blocks, placing blocks, and fishing all count.
  • Item use: Holding down buttons for item interactions (like drawing a bow or eating) keeps you active.

Why You Stay Active During Knockback

Unlike plugins that only check your position, this one reads your actual key presses. If a mob knocks you back or water pushes you, the plugin ignores that movement—you won't be marked away unless you stop providing input yourself.

The Check Happens Every Second

The plugin scans your inputs once per second. As long as you're pressing a movement key, using chat, or interacting with blocks during that window, you remain marked as active. Stop all input, and your idle timer begins.
