Know What Happens When You Die or Disconnect

Away Status Survives Death

If you're marked away and then die, your away status and idle timer persist through your respawn. You won't automatically be marked active just because you died—the plugin continues tracking your inactivity from before.

You must provide new input (movement, chat, or block interaction) after respawning to reset your status.

Reconnecting Preserves Your Timer

If you disconnect and reconnect to the server, your idle time is preserved. The plugin remembers how long you were away before you left, and that timer continues when you rejoin.

No Automatic Kick or Restriction

Being marked away has no penalty. You won't be kicked from the server, frozen, or moved by the plugin. It's purely informational—other players can see you're away, but you can still play normally.

Reset Your Status Anytime

The moment you press a movement key, send a chat message, or interact with blocks after respawning or reconnecting, your idle timer resets and you're marked active again.
