Use the Radial Command Wheel Effectively

Access the Wheel

The radial command wheel is your primary tool for directing your horse's behavior. Open it while mounted or standing near your horse using the designated keybind (check your controls menu if unsure).

Available Commands

Follow: Your horse will travel behind you and match your pace. Useful for exploration and travel.

Stay: Horse remains in place until you return or issue a new command. Use this when entering buildings or dangerous areas.

Wander: Your horse roams freely in the surrounding area. Good for letting it graze while you work nearby.

Return Home: If you've set a home location, your horse will navigate back automatically. This is essential for retrieving your mount from far away.

Strategic Use

Combine commands with the whistle to recall your horse from distance. Set "stay" before dismounting to prevent your horse from wandering into danger. Use "follow" during mounted combat so your horse stays engaged with you rather than fleeing.
