Set Up and Use Draft Horses for Farming
Select a Draft Horse
Draft horses are heavy workhorses built for pulling and labor. They can haul six-passenger carriages and break through obstacles that other horses cannot. Start by taming a wild horse and training it to Draft class through consistent bonding and use.
Attach a Cart or Carriage
Once you have a Draft horse, you can attach a cart for item transport or a large carriage for moving multiple passengers and cargo. Approach your horse with the appropriate cart item and interact to attach it.
Plow Farmland Automatically
Attach a hoe to your cart to enable automatic plowing. Ride your horse across untilled soil, and the hoe will till wide strips as you travel. This dramatically speeds up farm preparation compared to manual tilling.
Manage Cargo
The cart inventory can hold substantial items. Access it by interacting with the cart while dismounted. Load supplies, crops, or building materials and transport them across your world without managing inventory space.
Optimize Routes
Draft horses move slower than other classes but have superior pulling power. Plan efficient routes through your farm or between bases to maximize productivity per trip.
