Explore the castle's interior to find a room that suits your needs. Look for chambers with multiple chests already placed—these are ideal for storage. Corner rooms or towers offer good defensibility and views of approaching mobs. Pick a space close to the castle entrance for easy access to the outside world.

Securing Your Space

Clear out any mobs hiding in your chosen room by lighting it thoroughly with torches. Place additional torches along walls to prevent spawning. If the room has windows or openings, consider adding doors or temporary walls to control mob entry during your first nights.

Setting Up Storage

Organize the existing chests by category: tools, building blocks, food, and valuables. Craft a crafting table and furnace if the room doesn't have them, then place them near your chests for easy access. Leave space in the center of the room for movement and future additions like an enchanting table or brewing stand.

Establishing Supply Routes

Mark a clear path from your room to the village and nearby resource areas using torches or blocks. This helps you navigate safely at night and makes returning home easier when carrying heavy loads.
