Customize Race Rules and Lap Counts
Adjust Lap Requirements
By default, races may be set to a standard lap count, but you can change this per race. Use /race setLapCount [name] <amount> to set how many laps players must complete before the finish line counts. This lets you create sprint races (1 lap) or endurance events (multiple laps) without recreating the track.
Configure Global Settings
Edit the config file to control server-wide behavior. Key options include:
allowRejoin: Players can rejoin mid-race if they disconnectracingGameMode: Set to ADVENTURE to prevent players from breaking blocksspectateOnFinish: Automatically moves finishers to spectator moderemoveCarWhenLoggingOut: Deletes a player's boat if they leave
Enable Starting Lights
In the config, set lights: enabled: true and define the coordinates (from and to) of your stained glass starting gate. You can also adjust startRotation to orient the light sequence. After changes, run /ibr reload to apply updates without restarting.
