Reduce Nausea While Playing
Adjust Your Distance from the Screen
The shader's swaying and warping effects can cause motion sickness or eye strain during long play sessions. Sitting further back from your monitor reduces the intensity of the visual distortion relative to your field of view, making the effect less nauseating.
Take Regular Breaks
The constant camera sway, brightness pulsing, and chromatic aberration are intentionally disorienting. Step away from the game every 20–30 minutes to let your eyes rest and your sense of balance reset.
Play in Shorter Sessions
The shader is designed as a fun challenge rather than an everyday visual style. Limit gameplay to 30–60 minute blocks to avoid cumulative fatigue from the tilting world and tunnel vision effects.
Avoid Rapid Head Movements
Turning your character quickly while the screen is already warping and swaying compounds the disorientation. Move your camera slowly and deliberately to keep the effect manageable.
Play Familiar Content
Focus on activities you know well—mining, building, or farming—rather than exploring new terrain. Predictable gameplay reduces cognitive load while your eyes adjust to the distorted visuals.
