Experience the Shader's Effects at Their Most Intense
Play in Bright Environments
The shader's color washing, chromatic aberration, and brightness pulsing are most noticeable in well-lit areas. Build or explore in daylight, near lava, or in brightly lit caves to see the full intensity of the visual distortion and color splitting.
Explore Open Landscapes
The camera sway and tilting ground are most disorienting when you can see far into the distance. Open plains, mountains, and ocean vistas amplify the effect because your brain has more visual information to process through the warped lens.
Move Quickly
The shader's effects feel more intense when you're moving fast. Sprint across terrain, fly in Creative mode, or ride a horse to make the swaying camera and warped perspective feel more extreme.
Play at Night or in Dark Areas
The tunnel vision effect—darkened screen edges that pulse over time—becomes more prominent in low light. Caves and night-time exploration showcase this feature alongside the other distortions.
Combine with Other Disorienting Situations
Use the shader while riding a boat, flying with elytra, or navigating tight spaces. These activities already challenge your spatial awareness, and the shader amplifies that disorientation significantly.
