Adjust Shader Settings for Better Performance

Access Shader Options

Open the Shader Options menu from your Video Settings. Look for the Shader Options button—this is where all HyShaders Vanilla adjustments live.

Key Settings to Tweak

Shadow Quality: Lower shadow resolution if you're experiencing frame drops. HyShaders Vanilla's shadows are already optimized, but reducing them further helps on older hardware.

Lighting Intensity: Adjust how bright the improved lighting appears. If the world feels too bright or too dark for your taste, this slider lets you find your preferred balance without disabling the shader entirely.

Block Outline: Toggle the enhanced block edges on or off. Some players prefer the classic look without the subtle depth outlines.

Save and Test

Apply your changes and load into a world. Spend a few minutes exploring different lighting conditions—caves, forests, and open sky—to confirm the settings feel right. You can always return to Shader Options and adjust further. The lightweight nature of HyShaders Vanilla means even significant setting changes won't tank your frame rate.
