Reduce Disorientation When Building or Mining
Understand Why It Feels Disorienting
Hyperopia Shaders intentionally reverses normal depth perception. When you're placing blocks or mining, the blur on nearby objects makes precise aiming harder because your eyes can't focus on what's directly in front of you.
Lower the Blur Strength
Access shader options and reduce the blur radius or intensity slider. A gentler blur keeps the shader's unique aesthetic while making the foreground readable enough for detailed work.
Disable the Breathing Effect Temporarily
If available in your shader settings, turn off or slow down the focus-shifting animation. This removes the pulsing sensation that compounds disorientation during repetitive tasks.
Take Breaks and Look Away
The inverted focus can strain your eyes during long sessions. Step back, look at the horizon (which stays sharp), and let your visual system reset.
Switch Shaders for Precision Work
Consider temporarily disabling Hyperopia Shaders when doing intricate redstone, terraforming, or detailed decoration. Re-enable it for exploration and casual play where the effect enhances immersion.
