Capture Better Screenshots with the Shader
Position Your Camera Strategically
Hyperopia Shaders creates natural depth in screenshots by blurring foreground elements. Frame your shot so interesting blurred details (trees, flowers, grass) occupy the front, while your subject or landscape sits in the sharp middle-distance or background.
Use the Breathing Effect to Your Advantage
The shader's slow focus-shifting creates a subtle pulsing depth. Take multiple screenshots over a few seconds and pick the frame where the focus point aligns best with your main subject.
Adjust Lighting and Time of Day
The shader's color shifts (cool blue tones at distance) become more dramatic during sunset or in misty biomes. Experiment with different times and weather to enhance the surreal quality.
Compose with Depth Layers
Arrange your scene with distinct foreground, middle-ground, and background elements. The blurred foreground naturally draws viewers' eyes to the sharp middle layers, creating professional-looking depth without post-processing.
Disable HUD Elements
Turn off your hotbar and crosshair for cleaner shots. The shader's effect is strongest when nothing distracts from the depth illusion.
