Optimize Game Performance with Built-in Hooks

Understanding Hydra's Performance Features

Hydra Client includes built-in optimization hooks that integrate with Sodium and Lithium mods if you have them installed. These hooks automatically apply performance-friendly settings without requiring manual tweaking.

Enabling Optimizations

Open the ClickGUI menu with Right Shift and look for the performance or optimization section. Toggle on any available performance modules. If Sodium or Lithium are present in your mod folder, Hydra will detect them and apply compatible optimizations automatically.

What Gets Optimized

These hooks typically improve:

• Chunk rendering speed
• Entity processing efficiency
• Memory usage
• Frame rate stability

Checking Results

Launch your game and monitor your FPS counter (usually visible with F3 or a performance overlay). You should notice smoother gameplay, especially in heavily built areas or when many entities are present. If performance drops, right-click any active optimization module to adjust its intensity or disable specific features that conflict with your setup.
