Installation and Basic Use

Hurkledurkle's Animated Items Resource Pack is a resource pack, not a mod—install it like any other resource pack through your launcher's resource pack folder. Once activated, it automatically replaces your inventory item icons with animated versions.

The pack animates common items across several categories: valuable gems like diamonds and emeralds sparkle, aquatic mobs in buckets swim, hot items like lava buckets and soups bubble, magical items like ender pearls and echo shards pulse with energy, and crafting materials like blaze rods and netherite ingots subtly move. Special items like the totem of undying appear alive, while trial keys and glow ink sacs glow. One pottery sherd contains a hidden animation to discover. These animations only affect inventory icons and item frames—they don't change blocks or gameplay.
