Light Your Build with Slim Light Strips and Candlesticks
Choosing Your Light Source
The mod offers two subtle lighting options: slim light strips that attach flush to surfaces, and wall-mounted candlesticks for medieval or rustic aesthetics. Both emit light without requiring redstone.
Installation
1. Slim light strips attach to walls, ceilings, and floors as thin, discreet light sources
2. Candlesticks mount on walls and work best in corridors, dungeons, and castles
3. Check your config file to ensure candlesticks are enabled (they're optional)
4. Combine both types in the same build for layered lighting effects
Light strips are ideal for modern interiors and minimalist designs where you want illumination without visible fixtures. Candlesticks suit fantasy, medieval, and survival-themed builds. Both blocks reuse vanilla textures, so they blend naturally with your existing décor. Place them strategically to avoid harsh shadows while keeping your build's visual style intact. Experiment with mixing colored lighting variants if your config enables them—this adds atmospheric depth to caves, underground bases, and themed rooms.
