Understand What Gets Doubled and What Doesn't
Entity Loot vs. Block Drops
Humbling Bundle Mod specifically doubles entity loot—items dropped by mobs when they die. This includes drops from all hostile and passive mobs: zombies, skeletons, cows, chickens, blazes, endermen, and more.
What Remains Unchanged
Block drops are not affected. Mining stone, ore, wood, or any other block yields the same amount as vanilla. Only loot from killed entities is doubled.
Crafting recipes stay the same. You still need the same number of ingredients to craft items. The mod only affects what mobs drop, not crafting costs.
Enchantments and special drops. Rare drops like saddles, enchanted books, or mob heads follow the same doubling rule—if a mob would drop one, you now get two.
Practical Implication
This means the mod is most powerful for mob-dependent resources (bones, string, gunpowder, leather) and less impactful for ore-dependent progression. Plan your early game around mob farming to maximize the mod's benefits.
