Why Loot Doubling Matters Early

With Humbling Bundle Mod active, every mob you defeat yields twice the drops. This means your first night of mob farming produces resources equivalent to two nights of vanilla grinding. Use this advantage to accelerate your progression through wood, stone, and iron tiers.

Strategy for Maximum Efficiency

Focus on high-yield mobs first. Skeletons and zombies drop bones and rotten flesh—bone meal accelerates crop growth and rotten flesh feeds you early on. Kill these mobs near your base using a simple mob grinder or by hand.

Prioritize mob farms over mining. Since loot is doubled but ore blocks still require the same effort to mine, mob farming becomes your most efficient resource path. Build a basic fall-damage or suffocation farm to passively collect doubled drops.

Collect feathers and string early. These doubled drops let you craft arrows and wool much faster, enabling earlier enchanting table setup and bed production.
