How to Fix the Totem of Undying and Spawn Egg Textures Not Showing

Why the item icons look wrong

This pack retextures the Totem of Undying and the illager spawn eggs, but item textures are the easiest thing for another pack to override. If your totem or eggs still look vanilla, a pack loaded above this one is winning the conflict.

Reordering your packs

1. Open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Find this pack in the selected list on the right.

3. Drag it above any other pack that changes items, villagers, or illagers.

4. Click Done and let the game reload.

Confirming the fix

Hold a Totem of Undying in your hand and check the hotbar and inventory icon — it should show the new art. Then open the creative spawn egg tab and confirm the evoker, pillager, vindicator, ravager, witch, and iron golem eggs all match the human theme. If only the held model changed but the inventory icon did not, you likely have a pack that only overrides the item model, so move this pack higher again. Reloading the pack list with F3+T forces textures to refresh without restarting.
