Swap Individual Hotbar Slots by Column

Using Swap Slot

The Swap Slot keybind (default J) cycles through a single column of your inventory—useful for rotating through different tools or blocks in the same hotbar position.

How it works

1. Select the hotbar slot you want to cycle (click it, or use number keys 1–9)

2. Press J (or your configured keybind) to shift that column downward

3. The item in your selected slot moves up one row in your inventory, and items below move down

4. Keep pressing J to cycle through all items in that column

Quick cycling with Hold-and-Scroll

1. Hold down your Swap Slot key

2. Scroll your mouse wheel to cycle through the column

3. Release when you've found the tool or block you need

This is perfect for rotating between pickaxes, shovels, or different building blocks without moving your hands or opening your inventory.
