How to Evaluate Llamas and Their Carrying Capacity

The Horse Statistics Mod works on llamas too. Since llamas are primarily useful for carrying items, their carrying capacity stat is especially important.

Viewing Llama Statistics

1. Find an untamed llama

2. Hold Shift and right-click it

3. The display shows health, jump height, speed, and llama slots

4. Llama slots indicate how many inventory rows the llama can carry

Choosing the Best Pack Llama

Compare multiple llamas and select the one with the highest slot count—this determines how much cargo it can transport. Higher health is also valuable since pack llamas often travel through dangerous terrain.

You can tame multiple llamas with different strengths: one optimized for cargo capacity and another for durability. Once tamed, ride the llama to confirm its stats and ensure you've chosen the right animal for your needs.
